After you've got married, you will still have wedding thank you cards to deal with!
Whilst this can seem like a big challenge, it's actually quite easy, and can even be fun if you do it in the right way.
Follow our easy guide to wedding thank you cards etiquette, to create cards that both you and your guests will love.
You're probably thinking that you need to thank everyone who got you a wedding gift.
This is true, but there are a lot more people to consider!

You should make sure to send a thank you card to everyone who attended your wedding, even if they didn't give you a gift.
You may also want to send thank yous to guests that couldn't make it, your wedding planner, your caterers, your venue, your stationers, and anyone else who sent a gift - but its up to you!
As you approach your wedding day, you will probably hear a lot about a 'three month rule'.
Generally, wedding guests will expect to receive a thank you card within three months of the day.

However, etiquette indicates that you do have up to a year to send your wedding thank you cards. But the earlier, the better!
For guests that didn't give you a gift, a short message about how you were glad they could attend is all that you would need.
Thank them for making the effort to come to your wedding day, without going into too much detail, and share how excited you are about being married!

Guests that gave you a gift should receive a more thorough note. Thank them for the gift, naming what it is, and tell them how you plan to use it.
If you were gifted money, express how grateful you are for it, and how you will spend it, but don't mention how much money they gave you as it can be seen as rude. Check out our blog 'How Do You Thank Someone for Money?' to find out more!
Choose cards that reflect your wedding day. So if you had a traditional wedding with white roses, a card to match is ideal.
If your wedding was a more fun, casual affair, show this off in your invites, too.
